Born in London, ALTAIR ET VEGA is an art object Maison creating collectible bag charms. At the heart of each piece are miniature objects of desire that bring together fashion, art and the pleasure of collecting.
Named after Altair and Vega, two of the brightest stars in the summer sky, the vision first took shape one summer in London, beneath the spell of the English opera house. In that moment came a spark of desire to create something that could carry the feeling of a treasured experience with you, wherever you went.
This was the origin of our collectible bag charms. Suspended from a favourite bag, each bag charm becomes a trinket in memory of the places we visit and the memories we gather. More than an accessory, it is a keepsake in miniature. An object to carry with you now, and collect over time.
We draw from fashion, art, travel, architecture, interiors and the rituals of beautiful living. Rather than simply reproducing the world around us, we reinterpret it at a smaller scale, creating bag charms with their own stories and worlds. From the silhouette and clothing to miniature accessories and hand-finished details, every element is considered as part of a larger story.
